Ians fastest 2km

A snapshot of times for a 2km swim in a 25m pool. The first 350 metres were swum alone before another ‘faster’ swimmer entered the lane and started swimming in front of Ian. Deciding to swim on the toes of the swimmer in front of him, the times show that Ian was able to reduce his 100m split times fr the next 1000 metres until the swimmer in front stopped and Ian continued until he reached the 2km mark. Whilst the last 100m looked much slower it was a function of wet fingers and watch screen that took quite some time – and swearing -to stop recording.
